MM2H guides

MM2H grants a renewable pass, not permanent residency, and only one of its four categories lets you work. Those two facts decide whether the programme suits you at all, and neither is obvious from a requirements table. What follows covers the pass itself: what it grants, what it withholds, how the deposit behaves, and why published MM2H figures so often contradict each other.

Category is the decision that fixes everything else: the deposit runs from USD32,000 to USD1 million across the four categories, and only Platinum permits employment. The conditions that do not vary, the 90-day stay and the ten-year property lock-in, are the same whichever you pick. Whichever it is, the application itself is lodged by one of the 242 companies licensed to do it.
